Stripped down to bare plywood decking, installed high-performance synthetic underlayment, new heavy-gauge aluminum drip edge, and Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles with SureNail technology for superior wind and coastal salt resistance.
Concrete Tile Roof Relayment
Full tile roof relayment on a 3,400 sq ft Mediterranean residence in Aviara, Carlsbad. Carefully removed, numbered, and staged all existing concrete roof tiles. Stripped deteriorated 30-pound organic felt paper, repaired coastal dry rot on the substrate sheathing, installed two layers of premium high-temperature synthetic underlayment, new galvanized valley metal, and re-fastened tiles with corrosion-resistant screws.
